The ring Cedric places on his finger, appears to have no noticeable effect.

I nod and hand the key to Tiggy.

"Very good." I smile warmly at them both. "Now, may I have key? If surprise wait on other side of door, then should be me that get surprise in face, not you, ok?"
I take the key from Dedo, move to the door and attempt to insert the key in the lock and turn it..

Tiggy approaches the door and see's nothing through the barred inspection hole in the upper part of the door. Tiggy can hear the rhythmic snoring from up the corridor. Tiggy inserts the key and turns it, and hears a gentle "Click", and more rhythmic snoring from up the corridor. The door appears unlocked !

I open the door and step out into the corridor. Using my sneak skill, I work my way up to the other door, motioning the others to follow.

The door opens with little noise. Tiggy can see that the corridor is a dead end to his right looking from the doorway. To his left, a little way down the corridor, a sleeping Jailer on a bench, opposite him a doorway. Glancing briefly past the jailer a small room, with a warm firm burning in a fireplace. In the room is a table with things upon it, and somethings leaning against it. The Jailer is sleeping very soundly with rhythmic snoring. Beside the Jailer on the bench is a Truncheon.
Tiggy creeps down the corridor, and makes little sound. The Jailer seems unusually sound asleep. Beside the Jailer is a cup on its side with wine spilt out of it.
The door opposite the jailer is of a solid wooden construction, with a simple latch for opening and closing.

Suspicious that the jailor might be either drugged or under a spell, I use sneak again to creep into where he is. The first thing I do is to quietly take the truncheon, then survey the area (heightened perception: sight +2) to see what else is worth taking..
Sneak: D20 roll is 17 +2 = 19 Sight: D20 roll is 3 +2 = 5

I follow Tiggy down the hall. I look to see if my belongings are on the table. If so, I take them. I then take the jailer's truncheon. He looks to be asleep now, but there's no sense risking him waking up and using this.

Dedo creeps down the hallway to join Tiggy. The little noise they make seems to have little or no effect on the Jailer. The truncheon is taken without disturbing the Jailer.
There are belongings on the table, a medium back pack with things in it, around it some opened food rations. There are empty small pouches that may have had silver or gold coins in them, lying by the pack.
Surveying the area, you can see a staff leaning against the table, and a Mace on the floor. One end of a staff appears to be sticking out of the fire having been used for firewood.
The fireplace looks fascinating with carved symbols and markings surrounding it. The Jailer lets out a loud SNORE!!!! and then settles back into his rhythmic snoring once again. You can tell that the Jailer had been eating some of the food rations, as there are bits fallen around him on the floor.

I contemplate hitting the jailer across the head. Eating my food! Ruining my staff! But, no. I take a deep breath. Why wouldn't he do those things? He doesn't believe in the same God that I do. Doesn't have the same ideals. Leaving him be, I pick up my mace.

The Mace is definitely Dedo's, as is the remains of the staff burning in the fire. The staff leaning up against the table appears NOT to be Dedo's.

As they leave the cell, Cedric, bows one more time with the deceased old man. Saying a short prayer for the Saints to watch over him until he rests with our Lord, Cedric quietly follows out into the passage and to the room with the sleeping jailer. Seeing the man asleep or at the very least passed out, I watch as the other two men take their belongings from the table.(For Rac: Does the staff look like mine?, If so then Cedric takes it, if not mine, and if Dedo does not want it, Cedric will take it to use.)
Cedric then looks around for any other useful items. (Search: 6, Rolled 12...Doh!, lucky if I can even find the floor).

The staff definitely looks familiar to Cedric, but of course! it is Cedrics. The pack on the table contains the following items: A blow gun and darts -- a throwing dagger -- a candle lantern -- a torch -- flint and steel .
Cedric notices a broken vial lying on the hearth of the fire, its contents spilt out. The fire place is very decorative, unusually decorative for its location.
