Cedric motions for Tiggy to take the lead, he holds up his crucifix, indicating he will take the middle, and points to Dedo to take the trail. "We should move a quietly as possible as we do not know where these passages lead nor what rooms they may possibly pass by. Stealth at this time is going to be our friend."
As we step through the portal, and after it has been closed, Cedric wills the crucifix to light the way.

The group stoop and step through the opening the fireplace had made. The group can immediately feel the damp chill as they descend the dark narrow passage step by step. The musty smell gets a little stronger. As Dedo pulls the fireplace opening closed, you all hear the scraping stone as it grinds closed. The light from Cedrics crucifix illuminates all around them. The group descend roughly 10 to 15 feet to a small room about the same size as the Jailers alcove. The floor on the right has a hole in the floor with water in it. On the far wall, you can make out a door in the wall. It doesnt appear to have a lock, but a recess to pull the door closed.

Using nightvision (roll 9 +1 = 10) I scan the room for signs of activity - like traps being set or recent traffic.
If it all looks safe, I go to the door and use H.P. hearing (roll 11 +2 = 13) to listen for sounds on the other side before attempting to open it.
If it is all quiet, I attempt to open the door.

Tiggy's scan of the room detects nothing. The room does not appear to have been used or occupied for a very long time. All appears to be safe. Listening at the door, nothing can be heard. The door can be opened by pushing on it, it opens but takes a little effort as it scrapes on the floor. Looking through the door opening, there is a very large column in front of the door, and it appears to be a room or passage with a dull glow about it. The glow allows you to see a little, but not clearly.
You can make out some other large wide columns, 4 of these big wide columns/pillars, each about 10’ in diameter, which rise about 15’ high, the same height as the ceiling. At the far end of the room you can just make out an altar, which has statues either side. At the sides of the room are wooden chests, one either side. On the floor in front of the altar is painted a pentagram, also pentagrams painted in front of the wooden chests.
O.O.C (Please try and describe where you go exactly, IF, or when you enter. describe the route direction you go.)

I creep inside the door and move north to the corner, allowing the others to enter behind me. (I am now standing in the north west corner of the room facing into the centre of the room, still holding my dagger). Once the other two are inside the room with me and have seen it, I say to them both:
"I do not know about these things, but I am sure they bad. Look like trap. I remember I hear somewhere: if erase lines on floor, trap disarmed.. but.. am not sure.. What you think? You decide, I will do, yes?"

The symbols in this room makes me uneasy.

The carvings & pictures on the columns/pillars seem quite innocuous. The nearest pillar shows carvings of shoales of fish, fishing boats, sea scenes, Neptune, Whales & Dolphins. The pentagram you can see to your left however, makes the hairs on your back stand up, and give you a very uneasy feeling.

Seeing an uneasy look come across Dedo's face, I voice my agreement to how he is feeling.
"I do not like this place either.. but 'greater is He who in us than..' well, than all of this, no?"
I look over to Cedric.
"Comrade, you are more knowledgable about these things. I will do as you advise. So do we leave or do we destroy this place?"

Cedric looks about the room, his crucifix illuminating the dark corners with light. He glances at the pillars. "And I will make you fishers of men....hmmm interesting." he quietly says.
Hearing Tiggy comment on the symbols written upon the floor Cedric waves his hand at him to get his attention.
"My friend, do not disturb the markings on the floor...actually for now do not disturb anything if you can avoid it."
He looks around the pillar at the chest on the north wall. (not moving from the doorway though).
"My immediate advice is to not rub or even touch the symbols. Peasant superstitions and ill advice will generally get one killed or turned into a newt when you are talking about rune traps and magic. Furthermore I would stay still, move no further into the room until we can study it more."
He steps along the same wall that Tiggy moved along, but only takes a step, just enough to see around the pillar.
"The markings on the floor may be there to distract from the hidden dangers. You were wise to take the path you did, but remain there for now."
Cedric examines the room, never being a very studious one, his Sacred Studies skills are not the best, but what he lacked in book smarts he made up for in listening to the Holy Spirit and using that guidance to choose the correct path through life.
(RAC: Cedric will use his Intuition Gift to see if he can figure out the purpose of the room and what path he should take. d20 = 13, +3 for Intuition PF = 16)
He looks over at Dedo standing in the door.
"Not exactly the escape route we were hoping for, eh?"

Cedric steps out of the doorway toward Tiggy, just taking a step. Cedric has a clearer view of the wooden box and the pentagram on the floor. Way over to the east of the room, Cedric is not sure if he can make out some sort of short figure and possibly an altar, another decorated column blocks much of his view. The pentagram by the box appears to be painted on the floor. (P.M sent)

"Not quite the escape route I was hoping for, no. But it does put me a little more at ease knowing that the room hasn't been used in a while. That probably means our captors don't know about it." I think about plucking my courage and walking straight in, but figure I'll wait a while longer to see if the others reveal any danger. I continue to study the room from where I am.
Demonology = 7 (Yeah, that'll tell me a lot!)

You peer around the column/pillar in front of you. Ahead to the east of the room you can see some sort of altar, with what appears to be something on the floor in front. To your right there is another column/pillar, it also is highly decorated, it appears to have harvest scenes and farm animals from what you can make out. On the southern wall, you think you can make out a wooden box, but much of your view s blocked by a column. The room gives you an eary feeling.

Cedric feels something pass across the top of his boot ? Looking down he catches a quick glimps of something small and furry, dart across the floor and stop by the pillar. It looks very much like a mouse. The mouse pauses for a brief couple of seconds, then scampers forward again, stopping just short of the penatgon by the wooden box on the north side of the room. The mouse apears to contemplating the direction of its next move.
